Unless they got caught out and heading home from work? idiot springs to mind. Must have been a big lad as he seemed to get the bike up handy enough.

As long as I can get the bike out the back garden and onto the road I'll give it a shot, made for some interesting commutes in to Glasgow.
My only off (touch wood) was in the snow at Auchinairn, bloody mini roundabouts.
:rolleyes

Ridden in it a few times, as long as it's fresh it's not too bad.

I'd have been a wee bit more hesitant with the speed if it were me, but riding in the snow can be good for a laugh.

That's the time to persuade the boss to let you leave the bike in the office and get the taxi home from work  Big Grin

Imagine if you were 80% home and the snow came down thick and fast.  Seriously unfunny.  Can't turn back, can't park up, just have to grit your teeth and push on.

Opinions are like A**holes, Everyone has one.  Some people seem to have more than one though which is a bit odd.

I been caught out numerous times in similar conditions and it really is not a nice experience!

Nope, I don't do ice and snow on a bike. If the forecast is predicting it, the bike stays at home. And what a road to try in those conditions too! Nutter.
