And NO, I don't want tow bar!  : D

Right, parts time:

Funny, I was going to say £20 for the rectifier before I saw Red's final post! I'll take £15 for a Foccer.

As in OP, due to the condition and rarity of the rad guard, my starting price is 50 notes. Or make me an offer.  Smile

The hugger is scruffy, has a fiberglass repair on the left hand side, and so would accept £20 for it.

Disc is OK - does £30 sound fair to you?

Starting price on the engine is £500, but offers will be considered. Looking through the history, it's had regular servicing (annual, maybe? There are a few gaps in the paperwork). No engine faults in the paperwork either. Oil and filters changed regularly too; the oil in it is barely 500 miles old (and the old stuff, 6,000 miles old was pretty clean), it just had fresh coolant put in (and the old stuff that came out was clean) a month and a half ago. 29,500 miles on the clock, has new Iridium plugs in. I've never had any oil leaks, coolant leaks or any engine problems whatsoever. Revs freely and happily across the range, and up to the limiter. The only criticisms are the generator cover (now has a hole in it), a few scratches on the starter motor gear cover and the usual Fazer paint peel. Always starts on the button under 5 seconds, and I only need the choke on the coldest of days.

The valve clearence WASN'T checked at 28,000 miles, but other forum members have reported these still being OK at 50,000 miles - and mine shows no indication of there being any trouble there.

Any more info, please ask!  Smile

Hi,Is there any news regarding the front brake lever.

It may have been forgotten about.

Rectifier / Regulator I require is from year 2002 to 2003 part number 5RT-81960-00

At a guess the box eye will be pre 2002 therefore rectifier will not be the same

Sorry Chris and Red

Is a Rentec, and £30. I would have preferred to sell it with the towbar, as it the bar was made to measure with it fitted. Ho hum.  Sad

Sorry, Mobile. I think it's OK, if it is, I'll part with it for £10. It's a genuine Yamaha, unlike the clutch lever, which is a pattern and which I'll sell for £5 (even if it fits very well).

My Fazer was a 2001. If the parts match up (they may well, as very little was changed), you're still on first dibs.
