got that a couple of years ago - i do mine online tho - got a wee email saying "good news about your ticket"

5 numbers - and ONE number off of the 6 numbers (number drawn was 41, I had 40 on the ticket)

ended up with £2,250 instead of 1.4 million Sad

Just had a letter through from Phones4U stating that I left a phone insurance running for a contract I took out on a Nokia 3310 back in 2001!!

I called them and I felt it was just to rub it in, they said that I'd paid 130 payments of £7.60, totalling £988 Gutted  :'( :'( :'(

They then told me that I could have a refund minus the contract time of 12 payments. There was a catch though. Interest of £351!

So for my complete and utter stupidity, minus tax I get paid £1338.41!!  :lol  WINNER
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

My mate Dave who earns more than has brain cells got back over £25,000 PPI. Over the years he's taken out loads of loans for loads of bikes, last year alone he had a Pan1300, a Hayabusa and a GSX1400. Not forgetting hisBMW330 and his Seat Leon Cupra. Anyway the cheques cleared and he's just bought an 11 reg ZZR1400.
Lucky bleeder, the bike is awesome and feels just right, I can't wait for my go?

I should really check out this PPI thing, cos I had loans for a number of bikes from 1986 to about 1991. Could be a little windfall waiting for me...

I got a letter from my credit card company last week asking if I still "wanted to continue the OPTIONAL payment protection insurance that I CHOSE to take out" a few years ago.
The wording made me laugh.  :rolleyes

You is well lucky geezer.

A lot of places would have run your ticket through the machine and told you it was a loser, then grabbed the win for themselves.
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!

I won a tenner the other week  :rolleyes and for me that is as good as it gets, I'd put 4 lines on......got 3 on one line and 2 on another and one plus the bonus on the other line............I know you can say its all ifs and buts but I actually had all 6 numbers plus the bonus ball which I've never managed before, if only I could get them on the same line :'(

the pay out for 5 numbers is crap though
fire never sleeps
