They were given a good clean when I had new pads fitted! I can't remember an overhaul, but don't know if they need them. Pads still have maybe a quarter of the original friction material on?

Their condition may be dubious due to the way to forks were mutilated by the Mitsubishi. I'll have to let Red98 get back to you on those.

I'd be interested in the tank if its not buggered. Can collect.

Cheers

(Told you to break it weeks ago  :lol )

hi frosties......its taken a bit of a battering, not leaking though  Big Grin

I believe we call that buggered. However: If it ain't leaking, it might be repairable!

This vid may be of use: 4 ways to pop a dent from a motorcycle gas tank

Frosties, if you're still interested, it's yours for £15.
Thanks but as its worse than mine I'll pass this time. Will wait for your next one  :lol

Would also need a feckin big hair dryer to get your dents out........................like hold it behind a 747 when it wind up for take off  :rollin

Is the towbar still for sale?
Indeed it is!

Ahhh ok......just curious  :lol

No rush, i dont actually need any but could be handy having a spare set to recon, if they are cheap enough & nobody else proper needs them then i could be interested.

How much are you after for the carburettors?

Probably not much more than £60 - but I'd like to keep them nearish the bike until the engine sells to prove the engine is in good working order. Be advised they have a 33bhp restrictor in, and may need a bit of fettling to get them back up to par (balancing at the very least).

Red98 is probably a better man to talk to on that front!
Any idea if it's possible to remove the restrictors without buggering up the seals?

I'll take them but not in any rush, so whenever the engine has gone.

Yes, I've done it myself (for all of 3 days). I mean, the buggers went in!!  :lol

You just take the caps off the carbs, pull out spings, the diaphrams and needle bodies, put the stock springs and stock needles in place, then reassemble minus the plates. Simples!  8)

Thanks Paul, i know you know what youre looking at.
Calipers are something i havent touched yet so it would be interesting to learn a bit about them from all the threads on foc-u & have a set to play with since im now too old for Lego, if they need allot of work i might be outta my depth so hopefully the impact didnt trash them.

Hello!

I do indeed - stock, but in good condition. Still works, without Captain Kangaroo'ing me down the road!  :lol

Does £50 sound reasonable?

Hey Paul, it's me, you know, from "Buxom Babes" forum?! How can you have forgotten Dolly? I thought I'd never seen Ms Parton in a sheepskin coat before!

And NO, I don't want tow bar!  : D

i`ll have a look tomorrow for size, christo will give you a price  Wink ..........are you sure you dont want to buy a towbar ?...be quick i`ve got lots of people interested
Any word on the front tyre condition yet? And headlight reflectors?
