Welcome to the site pal, no problem being a newb, theres loads of us, we're like a fazer plague & slowly but surely we are wiping them out of existence :lol ,honestly stay safe as lots of us have crashed recently, take what youve learned so far & keep practising & learning more & have fun because the fazer is an awsome do it all bike & very forgiving.

If you fancy dabbling in a bit of maintenance theres lots & lots of threads on here detailing every job.start off with the easy stuff, doing a small service, oil, air & oil filters, build up your confidence & learn how to set up & adjust all of the controls.its your bike now,not the schools so get it as comfy as possible & youll flow more when riding.

Any questions, try the search function along the top,if you get no luck then stick up a post, youll get an answer soon enough.

Cheers

Hey,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on passing your test.

The fazer is a great first big bike, take your time to find a good one there are plenty out there to choose from. Any questions then ask away but mind and have a search first as a lot of common things have been asked already.  Wink

All the best in your search and don't be afraid to ask for a hand, there are foccers everywhere so one or two might literally be able to lend a hand! haha.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Welcome!
As a noob too, I can say there's a great deal of help here, good advice, and friendly at that.

I can also honestly say I think I made the best choice for a 1st big bike too.  Big Grin
Broken, bruised, forgotten, sore,
too fucked up to care any more.

I don't want to be negative about anything but if the bike you've bought doesn't have crash bungs or engine bars buy a set immediately.
As a new rider you will, and I mean you really will drop it at some point, best have the protection on there before it costs you!
Some say...

Get some pics up when you get the bike  8)

Punkstig's comment does sound a bit harsh but we've all dropped it at some point and as he said, worth having that bit of protection...

At the moment he's gold but must of had a new headlight fairing at somepoint as its a different shade. Should be 'transforming' this week. Pics to follow at the end of the week Smile
