Blue side lights, legal? Discuss...

Hi,I think it stands out quite well,I have stood about 100 mtrs away & it still looks bright but if you do fit them you might need to angle it slightly upwards so on coming traffic see it better,but don't but cheap crap as they don't last? Here is another pic taken further back from the last pic.

They look pretty bright, how have you mounted them?

I tried using number plate sticky pads but they didn't work so i used 2 self tapping screws & as its underneath the fairing it wont show    any holes if you take it off,they are connected to the left sidelight connector block,all i did was strip a little of the plastic off the ends & put it in the block before reconnecting it

Cheers Ray, I'll look into it a bit more before committing, but seems like a pretty good answer for what I want.
