As title really. Arse is killing me after 90-100 miles. I've been on a fazer before and not had this issue, also, on the other bike I seem to remember only getting one foot on the ground, but on mine I can plant both feet (about 5ft 7-8) flat on the floor.
Any way to tell by measuring it, as I'm not sure if the seats been done or someones changed the dog bones etc.
When I had my Fazer I undid all the staples and scooped out a shape for the gel-insert Only way to tell for sure is to compare with another Fazer or check to see if the staples have been replaced.
I changed the dog bones on mine to raise the rear ride height (aids turn in speed). Well it does that, and it throws you forward giving your junk an unpleasant workout on the tank. So I changed the seat for a viper touring seat. Problem solved. I found the original seat quite uncomfortable anyway. Its too soft for my linking. Touring seats are always harder, and as the hours in them pass, they seem to become more pleasing to the cheeks.
Not quite sure what to do with my early mid-life crisis. Ideas on a post card to P.O.BOX 150...
viper touring seat you say? interesting. I have looked at changing the seat too, dont think my rectum can take the abuse the standard seat dishes out :lol
that looks much more padded than mine! much thicker at the front too. the more I see the more I think mines IS quite shaved, think I need to look into either a new seat (as the stitching etc on yours is a nice touch too), or a used standard one that hasent been shaved.
