Rode 100 miles around the rain cloud and got a bit of drizzle for about 5 mins, result.
Red Heads - Slowly taking over the world!!!

Went to the coast, escaped the showers, drank tea and rode home.
We only saw about 20 minutes of Bridlington (which was more than enough!!!!)

Hey Garyb, how did you find the weight reduction affected performance???, has it increased the mpg figures?
![]() Also, would you like to purchase a full set of Blue silicone coolant hoses from me £150. Also - what engines did you have in those sun loungers in the background :lol
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

MPG is up for sure, seems like she's running on air these days! Re: blue hoses - sorry no interest mate! Had a couple of 50cc two strokes in them loungers before the strip down - hoping to upgrade to 125cc, so will stand a chance of beating them bleeding Germans for a spot by the pool!!

Booked it in for next Weds to have this little glitch looked at, so hopefully it'll be sorted ready for Ivanising time. Went to Swindon for a bite and a cuppa, nearly home when I noticed my bike was nodding at everyone :eek Got home to find one of the main fairing bracket bolts had fallen out! So every time I hit a bump, the whole fairing literally nodded up and down! Fortunately there are two bolts, one above the other, so it was still firmly secured to the bike. Didn't have a suitable bolt in the garage, so went to the local stealers, who came up with what I needed. I think I'll have to go over all the chassis nuts and bolts to make sure there are no other little surprises like that waiting for me. :\

Nice little ride to Ripley to meet up with a work colleague. Then home again and fitted an old D lock into the disc for added security.
Just need to remember that when I come to take it out again! :eek

Ordered piston seals for the front and rear calipers for £35 all in, just need to clean up the pistons when putting the seals in to give the brakes new life.
Might go for new sintered pads too. Then all that's left is braided hoses. Maybe for xmas

With some guidance from Luke (Mr Fazerpedia) and some parts out of his garage I treated my baby to some R1 upsidown forks.
Bollocks, bigger hammer required
