So is the intention to use this new thread now the T-shirt is officially in service?

Yes, I think so. I've contacted Red and he expects to be in Whitby tomorrow pm. I'll try and get some pics at handover
and add them on here. Hopefully others will follow on and keep this thread going.

Right folks...we're underway. Met Red98 this afternoon in Whitby (thanks for the coffee Paul) and after a chat took him to a local campsite before he heads north tomorrow.
Paul will pass on to whoever contacts him en route if a suitable time can be arranged but bear in mind he has limited internet access, maybe text him on his mobile which is shown on his avatar.[Image: P1040631_zps7b12b2ca.jpg]

Is there a map of where it is and where people who want to participate can put a marker to show where they are?

Not yet but there was an offer to do that.
I'm not really bothered about how it zig-zags across the country as long as everyone who wants to partake gets the chance. Perhaps making contact on this thread will work best???
No rush to get it back here...lets try and involve as many as possible.
The suggested charities were all regional and I assume people will want to donate to something local to them so that part of the mission is left to the individual.
There is a phone number and email address with the shirts if anyone wants to contact me.
I have also offered to start another one next year if the foccers want to repeat the event...with the benefit of whatever experience/lessons this years event brings.

it might need to be Farjo who adds the actual HTML coding buddy, on most forums html is disabled for normal members.

How do I add myself to the map?
Not quite sure what to do with my early mid-life crisis. Ideas on a post card to P.O.BOX 150...

Can anyone get involved with this? What's the idea just pass the shirts around or is there a minimum distance you have to ride? What's the charity aspect just donate when you get the shirt?

Yes, open to all, keep an eye on the thread, offer to take it when it gets to your region, sign the shirt and arrange to pass to another foccer, and add a few quid to your chosen charity is the plan.

If I can get it at the next LoFos, or even the Rescue Rideout, I can take it to the Suvvenahs (the Loomies crowd).  Smile

I know Red98 is heading north through Teesside to Newcastle and onward to Scotland with the aim of getting to John o groats, then back down the west coast if anyone wants to intercept him!
