Whats your favourite easy to knock up meal out of the fridge when the need arises?
I just found the last venison sausage and made a bute of a hotdog.
An ageing test pilot for home grown widgets that may fail at anytime.
Apart from £1 pizza from Asda? :lol :lol :lol
Probably pork fillet, baked in a soy sauce, ginger, honey and lemon juice sauce. Then served with rice / green veg.
Piss-easy, very tasty and great for a lazy night in.

Couple of boned chicken thighs - mix olive oil, ground cumin, coriander, garlic, finely chopped red chillies (to taste), juice of half a lemon, all mixed. Coat chicken pieces in this, grill on a ridged grill pan (about 15-20mins, turn once), serve with simple salad, slices of lime, salt and crusty bread to mop up the juices. Great on a summer evening!
Chicken and Indian sauce (bottle).
Or
Chicken and Thai green curry sauce (bottle)
Or
Chicken and white wine (bottle of wine) ;-)
Opinions are like A**holes, Everyone has one. Some people seem to have more than one though which is a bit odd.

It's great - use a sharp knife to check that chicken is cooked through - juices (if any - won't be much from a couple of thighs) should run clear, no pinkness in meat. (Just don't want you blaming me for food poisoning!) The trick is not to burn the spices...

You do realise you're talking to a keen cook who was brought up in France? :lol

Can't take any chances tho!
Better if you can leave the chicken to marinate for an hour or two before grilling.

i always make sure there is a can of pea soup in the cupboard, warm it up then add a tin of lidl mackerel. viola! fish soup! well, i like it anyway.
Baked beans or tuna and tomato sauce from the can if I can be arsed. Recently it's been some kind of cracker with cottage cheese on.
thou shalt not kick
I am eternally lazy when it comes to food preparation - so quick is preferably, but simple is necessary
This means things like; Baked Beans on Toast (classic), Jacket Potato (nuked as red98 put it :lol), anything that can just be shoved in the oven for 20 mins - which mostly includes some sort of breaded / battered, meat / fish
I can do a great fried rice and meat in half an hour, feeds 4

If you're eating for 4, how come a XXXL t-shirt will "flap about in the wind" on you? :lol
Chicken + chips or pizza I hate cooking, which is a pity because I love eating. My rule of thumb is if it takes longer to prepare than it does to eat then I can't be arsed

Hahaha! Love it! If you don't mind, I will certainly be adopting that phrase ^^
paletta pizza
Its just a ride
I have recently rediscovered flatbread wraps.
If you can master the art of sealing the bottom (fnaaarrr) when you roll it the fillings are endless.
I like..........................
A small tin of pilchards mashed with balsamic vinegar and or worcestershire sauce + salad?
Potato salad/coleslaw with ham and/or cheese
Tuna and sweetcorn salad filler (readymade, lovely) with avocado.
Pack of cooked chicken tikka with mayo and salad.
etc etc
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!

Baked beans for me - over brown toast with lashings of mozerella cheese on top slapped under the grill till its all melted
