None, well I guess it probably does use a bit but not enough to notice. My FJ on the other hand got through loads of the stuff before I swapped the engine for a low mileage one.

Nope, never needed to top up. I ride all year long n do 6 monthly oil changes (just so i dont forget)
Prob about 3000 miles between changes.
I visually check oil level at least once a week if not twice, but never noticed a noticeable drop.
Get the compressio tested asap if I was you.
Good luck

I change every 4000 miles but the recommended change is actually 6000 miles!

About half a litre when you're running it in.

And after that, bugger all.

Or at least that little that you don't notice it.

As mentioned before, mine is in relatively bad shape and has done a lot of miles... so its drinking oil and spewing it back out as well...

But, you shouldn't be burning any oil at all really, or at least not enough to actually notice

Funnily enough my oil light comes on just before its due its oil change (I change every 5000 miles no questions)

So mine burns however much from full to low level warning in 5000
Some say...

None.  Last time I changed it'd done 13k and hadn't needed topping up  Big Grin

My light seems to normally come on about every other lofo ride Tongue By the end of the day, I have to be more conservative with the throttle otherwise the red light of doom comes on...

I pour to the almost top of the mirror. When it's time to change, at 6000 km (4000 miles) i don't see any difference in level. Not noticeable at least. So far so good.

61,000 km on the clock, but could be more or less, since I can only guarantee for the last 30,000 kms.
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.
