Fazer 800 2012

Hello everyone.


Traded my Honda  Deauville in for a 2012 model today.  Got an incredible deal with 0% finance.  Obviously they wanted to shift the 2012 model as quickly as possible.


It was a toss up between a VFR 800 or a Fazer 800.  The deal at he Yamaha dealer in thecnd as the clincher but also he VFR seemed a little heavy an overly complicated.


Should pick it up on Tuesday .  First ever Yamaha.  Also own a 2009 CBF 600SA.


So good to be here.  Anything to watch out for with the 800?

Dont know much about the fz8 but youll be greatly received by the small but ever growing fz8 community on here.


Hope you have fun & your honest  experience of the bike would be interesting to hear about.

Yeh I'll definitely post some pix.


Can't wait to unleash that 106 bhp.


My Deauville was less than 60 and my CBF is 75bhp.


Should feel quite different.


When I sat on it yesterday it felt quite light too.


Roll on Tuesday.
