The Snowdonia jont on the 2nd would be up your street but appreciate you've got a businness to run, me & bri might be nocturnal creatures but we are lucky getting time off during the week.

No, you need two trekking poles to tie up to. Light weight, telescopic, so easily fit on the bike, and don't need to be the really expensive ones. Then you can pitch a bivvy anywhere.

If you need any tips on this, go to www.backpacking-lite.co.uk, look at shelters, then tarps. A wealth of info on bivvys, tarps, even the best knots to use and where to use them - happy bivvying!  Smile

Cheers nick, that site sounds good, im glad i kept my old bivvy bag as it seems that it will be just the thing for bike camping, ive found a tiny sleeping bag which squashes down to nothing, only good for about 10 degrees but ideal for summer jonts.i reckon ill fit everything in my tail pack & tank bag as i dont really want bits & bobs hanging off allover the place.
