Looks very nice but I just don't get excited about Triumphs for some reason. Mate of mine has a Street Triple R and raves about it.
To me some of the bits on it look an after thought. The biggest example is them horrible bug headlights..  The 675 engine sounds like a sewing machine to my ears and I really do not like the finish on the frame. its like a matt paint that feels like it has sand in it. very odd.

But then it would seem I am a bit of a Yamaha fanboy.. owned 3 bikes all yam's lol. Wouldn't be surprised if the next one was also a Yam.
Lord,
Grant me the WD-40 to move those things that are stuck, the Duck tape to fasten those things that are loose, And the wisdom to know the difference.
Amen

Cracking looking bike. I seen a nice Blackbird in a similar colour today too. I'm a fan of Triumph, although I have never owned one. Might give it a go someday.
Not quite sure what to do with my early mid-life crisis. Ideas on a post card to P.O.BOX 150...

Now here's a real triple: unfortunately, having a full Denco porting job, if I'd kept it I probably wouldn't be around today to tell the tale...

That sprint is lovely [Image: smitten.gif]

I like the way removing the luggage doesn't leave a huge metal bracket sticking out too.

Get the tuneecu program and play with the mapping, makes a huge difference to the power delivery once the decat and airbox mods are done >Big Grin
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

I like the Sprint and the Tiger sport 1050 but the speed triple headlight sucks big time.

I suppose you don't see it when you're riding it but hey, still ugly.

I like the MT-09, nice styling in my opinion but I'd like a bigger tank if I'm riding to work.

Mmmm, decisions,,,,

Is it just me that thinks of this when triple is mentioned:

Ta - did think long and hard about the can (ok all of two days). This one had to go and in the end I decided there was no point in having a single sided swingarm if nobody could see it

Loving it so far. As many will know I have been riding a well sorted gen 1 thou for the last 7 years. Decided I fancied something new and this one ticked all the boxes, my requirements for a bike haven't changed since my first gen one.

For those who have owned or ridden Sprints the most significant improvements over the ST are the suspension and headlights (which are actually rather good). It still feels like the same bike but all around noticeably better and more refined than the 09 ST I test rode last time I thought about a change. Not sure when they introduced ride by wire but its spot on.

Not starting the whole gen 1 vs gen 2 debate but if Yamaha had continuously improved and refined the Fazer rather than re-inventing it I would have been posting pics of my gen 3. Gen 2 is a cracking bike - but not what I need or want.

I tested a sprint st was great till it broke down on the test run somat to do with electronics nor registering that there was fuel in the tank ,but I got a 1050 tiger same engine as you get the tuneecu program it's free and the Ecu to comp cable as with that exhaust the bike will be running rich and then  Smiledo airbox mod and said removal 135bhp here you come just for £15 ecu cable

Think it may already be 135  :lol . Triumph got 5 over the ST when they got rid of the underseats which takes it up to 130. Trident claim another 6 across the board for this can on this bike, and I already have the cable for my car Wink
