If you have 98 model it should be a square eye as opposed to fox eye. Look on ebay for Venom (Motad) downpipes.Sandy bike spares & Delkevic sell some too.

A bloke in my local shop just got new pipes for under £200 from Sandy Bike spares, new. Apparently, Motad don't often fit very well, AND are more expensive...

My Motad pipes, the Venom branded ones, fitted well and they go for between £130 & £170ish new on ebay. Some of the SBS and Delkevic ones had reports of the collars breaking but I reckon they're all more or less the same.

I've seen a more expensive (£250+) Motad version which might be different but I'm not sure.

Try and get a set that has the balancer pipes between the down pipes of 1,2 and 3,4  Wink

@ Fuzzy - was the £250 just downpipes or did it maybe include the end can too?? Might explain the higher price.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

No, its rather odd. If you go onto Ebay and type "FZS600 downpipes" or similar, what you'll usually find is a listing for "Motad" downpipes (only) selling for a much much higher price whilst Motad themselves sell much lower priced ones branded "Venom" on auctions via their account. A bit odd, but there you go.
I bought a whole Venom system from them direct and its been alright, has the balancer pipes and supposed to be made in the UK (whether thats a good thing or not!)

I have had the motad venom header pipe from ebay £130
they have been on the bike for about a year,
when I fitted these originally all the brackets etc lined up as they should however I did find that the centre stand rubbed slightly when being operated,
I could probably have  ignored it, however I took the stand off and filed a little metal off the stand,
job done it does not affect the stand in any way
I am currently using these headers with a pipe worx end can and link pipe all seems o.k to me, on the link pipe there is a bracket for the centre stand to rest against when in the up position, the rubber grommet on the stand does not line up dead centre of the bracket, I don't know if this is due to the motad headers or the pipe worx link pipe

I cannot remember if I used the motad headers with the original silencer so cannot comment on how these line up
