Brum meet departing from Runnymede
#1
Right then.

I'm meeting Norm at entrance to Runnymede Hotel, Windsor Rd, Egham, Surrey TW20 0AG at 09:30 for the ride up to Brum.

Those wishing to ride up with Norm, myself and my freind Dave please feel free to be there.

The route is mostly A roads. No motorways.

Stick your name below so we have an idea of numbers for the run.

Could be fun. There was talk of a bunch of us meeting up at the Ace Cafe - maybe the two groups can join en route? Personally, I don't mind motorways, but A roads are cool too. Any ideas?

Here is the route we've taken in the past.

Start in at the Runnymede Hotel on the A308 right by the M25 at Staines. First it's off through Windsor, then A4130/A4074 through Henley to Oxford and a pause at the Oxford Services. This is the services at the junction of the A34 and A44, I think it's called the Peartree Interchange. We then take the A44 to Chipping Norton, A3400 through Shipston-on-Stour to Tredington, A429 past Wellesbourne to Warwick, the A4177/A452 through Hatton and Balsall to the A45.

I'll be traveling up from Chippenham, so if I can time it right I could tag on at Shipston-on-Stour as you ride through on the A3400...  Wink

Takes you about an hour and a half to get to Peartree, right? Just trying to plan the Ace route

OK. I assume it's only Bri h from this side meeting with me Norn (Fazer 1000 Owners Club), and my mate Dave meeting at Runnymede.

Please correct me if I'm wrong or add your name below.

I'll phone Norm to see what the ETA is at Peartree Oxford services.

If we're not there by the time you get to Peartree, give me a call, I can tell you how far out we are / where we are.  Smile
