Are any other foccers on here who commute day in day out through the winter and find that their Fazer become less fuel efficient once the sun comes out

un and the temperature warms up?
Maybe it's the warmer air, affects the carbs and makes the bike run rich, I've also noticed a higher pitched whine from the engine and exhaust now it's warmed up..... any ideas??? :b
Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys beer, and that helps!
With ful injection it's the other way round assuming your riding style doesn't change due to there being more oxygen in denser cold air, more fuel gets pumped in.
In reality, dry roads mean more speed and acceleration so lower fuel economy in summer.
Another ex-Fazer rider that is a foccer again
Aye but at least your hands are foccin warm!
Never used to notice too much difference on the FZS600 but have noticed an increase on the FZ6.
Mind you it's been a long old slog through the winter ( I think the bike coped better than I did) but, now it's warm and dry(ish), I've probably been riding it a lot harder than usual :evil . Certainly got me smiling again on the daily commute
If it ain't broke.......just tinker with it a little anyway!

youll find out that its not the temp its your right wrist as the weather gets warmer and the tyres start to work you feel the grip and go faster :lol
ive noticed a dramatic increase in grip and confidence in the bike so tyres will be shredded
Am I the only one that thinks he was taking the piss and knows all the above? :b kinda made me think that but hey maybe I'm wide of the mark.
