Finally got around to putting the new bearings in my freshly powder coated wheels and stuck them to a friend at a garage to get them balanced, will pick them up tomorrow. Finished spraying my front forks a couple of days ago after sanding them down and spraying them myself, put them back on the bike today after they've hung for a few days to make sure the paint had properly hardened.

Will hopefully get mudgaurds, wheels and brakes all put back together either tomorrow or the next day!  8)

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Went for a 3 hour ride, froxze, thawed out with a coffee, polished the pillion peg hangers, went for another ride, pasted the same guy twice going the other way in Great Barford. Saw four riders, with 9what looked like)Fazers at the Black Cat Roundabout on the A1, but didnt get round in time to wave.

Changed the tax disc. Decided that I'd wash the bike this weekend but not today. Curled up inside getting to know Depeche Mode's new album, Delta Machine.

I didn't do it myself but watched a mate do it, still count?

After getting to his place with new piston seals for my diversion he is fixing for me he threw my new addition (http://i.imgur.com/Ke6JJmY.jpg) around his estate to show me how easy it was to wheelie then put it up on his ramp for a good inspection. Bled the rear brakes because they were spongey as hell and got them back great - inside bleed nipple broke off though so had to drill it out, tap it and rob a bleed nipple from another caliper. Gave the pistons a bit of a clean while he was at it but I think i'll invest in new seals and rebuild completely. Will order sets for all 3 calipers though and do them all.

Figured out the headlights aren't working but couldn't figure out why.. I'm off to start a thread on that  :lol

Rode to the gym at work.
On the way home, off ramp from A38, stopped to help a lad pushing his motorbike. Turns out to be knackered so we push it behind a sign so he can collect it later. Gave him a pillion to the nearest garage.

Nice one Spoon, good on you!

I refitted my front wheel, calipers and new brake pads today! Looks so much better wit the gloss black forks and gloss black front wheel! Starting to look like a bike again! Removed rear brake caliper mounting bracket and tension bar to paint them up.

Rode up to Epsom via the A32 which was a lot of fun.

The ride back down the A3 this evening with frequent snow flurries was not so much fun...
