Today marks the end.....
#1
Of localised fire and police services in scotland. As of monday, we go federal.

We received an email from the chief to say as it was both the end of the service and his tenure as (*ahem* retired and came back) chief he gave us a half day off. He ended by sarcastically saying he was our best ever chief. He's a joker

If he really was the best ever, he would have given us the full day off-

Lucky you, all the crap we up here in Grampian, is filling the inbox to the hilt so dunno if the boss has sent us an email or not, lol, I envisage a lot of teething problems for the first year or so until we all get into the L&B ways.

Ponkster is also in grampian. Enforcement and investigation.
We wrre at gullane doing fire safety modules together. Around the time he bought a fazer. Wise man.

Speaking of which, Chris, my flatmate brought me back some habanero chilli sauce from texas so I'll bring it to spring meet to face off whatever cheap pap you're considering hot sauce these days

Fighting talk where I come from - my mom uses that sauce to brush her teeth......

good to hear from you - as we expected the single service change over is a shower of shit - from monday I cover Tayside , Grampian and Highlands and Islands , not much really!

..... and I have been told to stop doing enforcement so all that time at my favorite college was big waste of time

Rob - where do you work in Grampian - Fire or Police?

Yes Ponkster, retained crew manager in deepest Speyside. Brother in law is a copper and he says they are having lots of issues as well in the changeover.

Taylor.  As far as I know he got his lump sum which for a chief would be fairly sizeable, but agreed to postpone his 2/3 until he finished up.

Rob. New chief is ex tay. Apparenly an ok guy from those around me who've met him. I havent watched any of his vlogs tho cos he's about as charismatic as a half dead monkfish but he must be good at the old administrating thingumijigger.

Chris. Its tasty stuff. I'm no hero with spicy stuff but even a wee bit does the job
