It may be part of a recession trend where people are temporarily giving up motorcycling or 'downsizing' to smaller, cheaper bikes - are there also a lot of other litre bikes for sale?

Remember that interest in buying motorcycles grew by some 500% in the nineties and where there was boom, there's now bust

Prices.....well, a seller can state any price they're looking for their bike, but whether they'll get it...

oh yes its deff a buyers market at the moment

but Im suprised but the numbers for sale theres a few from here i recognised

Im very lucky in the fact that my bike is all paid for no hp so it only costs me fuel insurance a road tax
but even still I am thinking of only doing six months tax this year i would rathe leave the bike in the garage than sell it to be honest

BUT you never know what around the corner do you ! I have a wedding to pay for in August ! donations please !  :lol

They will all regret it once they have sold them.  How much will it cost today for the same thrills if they are buying a newer bike.  Once everyone sells there 1000CC bikes for 800's they will just raise the tax on 800's.  Remember when diesel was cheaper than petrol!!

What is all this talk of tax for? A years tax on a bike is less then two tanks of petrol. If you want to save money, and gain performance, lose some weight  :rolleyes
