Double bubble or Flip screen??
#1
The Beast originally had a tall flip screen... that was until I hit a pigeon and killed the screen. I then replaced it with Iridium DB screen which is sh!te... so im searching for a new screen... what is peoples opinion on screens? Which do they prefer and why? Ta very much for your help on this one in advance!!  Confusedmokin

I've tried a few different screens and have come to the conclusion that if you are over 6 feet tall then the different screens just move the point the blast hits you - they don't really shield you.

I have decided to go the other way and remove the fairing all together and go down the fighter look - if I don't like it I can always put it back on.

If your looking for a touring screen then you are probably better getting another tall screen.

I prefer tall flip screen because I like the more up right riding position but when on the tank I hit my helmet on it where as with the double bubble tends to be better for when I is on the tank.

I is only 5.9 and most of my riding is touring. Even on short journeys on the Gladius wind on the motorways can get tiring but I is an old man.

I'm about 5'9" and I'm using a double bubble with a dark tint. It looks the biz and gives protection, but wind noise is loud enuff. I'd say a flip might be better for touring and quiteness.

I must admit your screen does look the business!! Which was what I was looking at getting very similar... but I im thinking a tall flip screen may be the way forward... as someone who is in the 6' zone I think it will help with our constant wind & rainy season we seem to have in the UK!!  :'(
