what did you do with your fazer today ?
Brilliant, thanks Charlie. I'm going to paint mine black. they were silver and really flakey so had to do something with them. I've removed mine to make it easier to sand them and also to clean in around the yokes and the upper parts of the forks. Also helped to have them out of the way while I painted the down pipes with satin black high temp paint. I was going to do the forks gloss black but decided to go for satin as it'll hide any imperfections better.

Be interesting to see how the foot rests come out as I'd like to get something a bit nicer on mine but damned if i'm paying 300 quid for the gilles ones! haha. Depending on how my forks come up then I might just paint the standard ones satin black too.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Finished off the DIY luggage rack for the fz1, fitted a shorter dark tint screen, and my top box arrived for the fazer 600, so that got fitted too. An industrial day, and a happy one!

Dropped it off for an MOT and a service, hung my head in shame at the state of the chain and rear sprocket  :o thought I'd given it a decent clean after the last ride, obviously need to pay more attention  ..........

Rich.....if it's any consolation I did endure 51 Welsh Winters before I came here!

The 51 Welsh Summers weren't much better come to think of it!

You were lucky! We used to have to ride for 25 hours to get to work, and then do an 18 hour shift every day! You don't know you're born! :pokefun

Luxury. I had to get up half an hour before I went to bed and walk through three ploughed fields for work at the coal face to provide for my entire family, who had all been injured workin down mill. Then when i got back to the set we shared with 3 warring factions of TB infected badgers i had to cook a single bean, using a match, and feed 17 toothless mouths with it. All this whilst carrying my youngest brother around in a carrier bag on account of him having no legs and half an anus.
