Screen
#1
Looking to get a dark tint screen for my bike and came across this on ebay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dark-Tint-Scre...484f190961

Has anyone on the forum bought one and if so what is the quality and fit like.

Thanks

Seems a bit cheap to me, and doesn't look like it's a double bubble.
I've always had dark tint D/B screens from Skidmarx.co.uk...always been happy with them and felt they look good and deflected the wind blast well. (mind you that is always a tricky area as it depends on your own height and shoulder width)...Skidmarx are worth a look, but they will be more expensive...you get what you pay for though  Smile

Your right and I appreciate what your saying but sometimes an unbranded item is as good quality and fit as a branded item. Just wondered if this was the case with this.

It looks the same as a standard one with perhaps a slight bubble.

I got a Tech 7 one in a busters sale for the same price and it was very good up to 85 mph, after that it got a bit windy so fine for UK use but a bit crap for doing higher speed touring in Germany etc.

For that price just buy it and try it, if you don'r like it someone on here would buy it for a tenner or so.

I bought one about the same price. Came from china through an english seller. Cheap and cheerful, but had to spend a couple of hours trimming down as it didn't fit right. Could be a different seller but that was my experience with a cheap screen. It's fitted now and ok.

That's what concern's me. Don't want to buy something that I have to muck about with to fit. The ebay seller is based in Birmingham although he probably ships them from china as well.

Your right. Will probably just get one. Judging by the posts I've read on the forum about screens paying a lot for one doesn't guarantee it 's going to suit me.
