Excuse the noob question but why has it got a paddock stand when you have a centre stand ?

It's got the paddock stand as centre stand is on wrong side I can't turn bike round or push into garage backwards as my house is on a bit of a hill that's all

Lez72, thanks for pointing that out, can't believe I missed that......your bike looks in outstanding condition and as as hard as I've looked I can see no dirt....maybe some close ups will reveal all :lol

I like em nice and clean Bigbluebear. I took those photos at the weekend after i had put it all back together after having it apart over the winter for a real deep clean. I gave the 1000 the same treatment and will post some pictures soon, including some close ups just to show you i am not hiding any dirt  :eek

Your 1000 really does look minty though. One of the nicest i've seen. I know its a bit anal but i enjoy cleaning my bikes. I find it theraputic and i feel better when riding them  :rolleyes

I know what you mean about it being theraputic, nothing better looking after it through the winter months...Autosol mixed in with WD40 works really well.....hopefully not long now before they stop gritting and salting the roads beforeI venture out.....I fukkin love my bike :kiss :o

I hear that !!! The sooner they stop gritting and we have a bit of rain to clean the roads up the better. Maybe we can get some milder days then and actually get out for a blast to clear out the cobwebs.

BBB, What do you use the WD40/Autosol mix on ? I presume it would be the swingarm and exposed metal parts ?
