Bit pedantic really, but should it really be called 'FZ1 Fazer Gen2' or maybe something else?

I was after a Gen1 when I was looking for a new bike, but got offered the Gen 2 and couldn't refuse the deal. Handles a bit sweeter than the Gen 1, but just misses out on bottom end torque a little.

One thing it doesn't do is look down on the old dino Gen 1. Worthy of the 'Fazer' name. Looks better too! :lol

If i am not mistaken the gen 2 in America has Fazer stickers on them, but to hell with it , it's a Fazer, who gives a shit if its gen 1 or 2.

My 2010 UK bike has fazer on the fairing too. That should say 'proudly' has the fazer logo.

When i got mine i had a budget of 5k which i thought would be just for the bike. I looked at many genny 2's but alas didnt ride one then saw my one @ 2550 miles on an 03 in v good condition so snapped it up. I got a brilliant bit of kit and consideted i'd saved a few K in the bargain.

well the gen1 is always badged as FZS...while gen2 is listed as FZ-1. Cant see why that should be changed

Where as elsewhere in the world they're both called the FZ1. It's just a name really, but who cares! Just get out there and ride it!  8)
