It is something that bug's me so much, and many others on here. Whilst I appreciate that someone can come on here and advertise something that would be a benefit to a forum member, it's not cool when it is there first post. There is an introduction page on here where new members can say hello and a wee bit about themselves. There are people who have been long term members who advertise things for sale ( who we as a community know and trust) only to get them shunted away down the pages by people who only come on here to sell something. We are not Glumtree or fleabay.
I am not saying that the poster or any other first time posters are bad people, they are probably nicer than me, but on a forum it's a place to know who you are dealing with.
Rant over.
Good luck with your sale and sorry if this focs up your thread, but the question was asked. :\
Better to stand and look a fool than speak and prove it !
If it aint broke, I'll fix it till it is !!

Hi Guys,
Firstly, I’m really sorry if I caused offense, none was intended on my part I promise. Thanks for being straight up, much prefer this approach but glad you had a laugh for good measure on previous replies. I can see my ‘rude’ ways now and do apologize.
After a potential sale for my bike fell through, I was told about this forum (only yesterday) and thought I would post it. I’m not a regular member of any forum so new to these things. Even if I did pop in and introduce myself, I would still feel like I have an agenda anyway by posting my bike here.
I’m also stressed as my next mortgage payment looms over my head so I guess I could have handled this better (but running out of options, people aren’t buying).
I am happy to delete this post, let me know and I will take it down.
