Hi Simon, the General forum is meant for non-model-specific stuff and general chat too. Hence topics on Aldi, LPs and canvas prints

I was thinking that general should be motorbike specific but not model specific such as helmets, ear plugs, oil additives etc. And anything that is not motorbike specific I.e shopping or whatnot would be in off topic? Forget it. Just an idea.

Oh I get it, so you'd have one General Bike and an Off-Topic, kind of thing?

The number of boards was kept low when we came over from Yuku deliberately because posts were spread over so many places. The concern with new boards is that with too many, people stop visiting all of them and everything gets posted in General - "I would post it in the right board but nobody goes there".

Do you think the current General board is too busy?

That was the idea. I don't think general is too busy, I'm just a control freak and like everything in it's place.

I guess it's an OCD thing.

I did notice there was no 'general bike' board where you could discuss anything not model specific but still bike related. It just seemed like there should be a topic for it.
