LED Brake light clusters - DIY
#21
The datasheets I've looked at for LEDs all seem to have very linear light/current curves, but maybe yours are different.
I've just gone off on a bit of a thought tangent: as well as red LEDs, you could incorporate a similar array of 935nm infra-red ones and drive them with a noisy PWM switch centred around 1kHz: just to make things a bit more difficult for those laser wielding traffic police.  :lol

Haaha! now that's an idea! They are super flux copies from china so I have no idea about the characteristics of them, you can see that they are 5 chip LED's though. I have stopped fiddling now though, its definitely at a happy medium.

I didnt do a guide for that one though, as its a pretty normal install, following his documentation.

I am also planning some LED rear pegs, maybe, If I get a chance.

around ahem 90 pounds + shipping cough ahem.

A bit pricey yes, but when you think a gear indicator is 70 odd quid new, and this does SO much more, instant fuel economy, shift lights, 0-60 timing, crap loads!

Christian (the dev) has been very good with adding new features and sorting out issues with me as well.

Do those gauges work on the 600 then? As I saw they were listed as fzs1000 so thought it might not work on the 6.
They do look really cool.

Indeed they do, they require a seperate temperature sensor as there is no water sensor on the 600. Works very well on mine.
