Clouds.
Doesn't matter if they're natural or man-made, so can be anything from cumulonimbus at sunset to the results of the bloke three doors down emptying a can of Redex into his Triumph Spitfire's carburettor.:lol

Tenerife a few years ago ... was watching this boat struggle , sounded like the motor was packing up.
could here them shouting fire ...when we saw the cloud above that looked like a face ..few seconds later the boat went up in flames.
they was all ok ...somebody was really looking down on them
