One thing i always dread is the thought of having to leave my bike at work because of snow, because you just don't know how long it's gonna hang around for.
At least my bike's in the garage at home, and i've had this week off using up holiday so i'm okay, but i'll need to ponce a lift from a workmate on Monday!

I'm in North London, so from previous history all roads will become gridlocked for hours on end, public transport will be completely overwhelmed, and panic buying in shops will ensue.
Fortunately i'm not working tomorrow, and the pub is only 300 metres away from my home

I got a new tyre put on the back yesterday so plenty of tread for snow :rollin !
This morning,, I pulled into the garage about 10 miles away from me on the A2 and filled'er up. As the visor had a layer of salt on it already, I thought I'd use the wipes and water buckets that they keep by the pumps. No fecking water in any of them! Saw some snow lying beside the pump and had a moment of inspiration, I'll use the snow to wipe the visor clean of salt and dry off with the paper towel. Picked it up, it was frozen solid ice. Feck it, just carried on.....

I can think of nothing worse than a brand new tyre in snowy weather........it's a really dodgy combination!!!
