yeah stick it in. most people go for a k&n and a superdedooper exhaust for maximum awesomeness. k&n seems to be a miracle air filter that you don't have to clean, it gives you better mpg, more power and it tidies up your garage while you're asleep :thumbup

I really want to put a K&N air filter in my bike but I am restricted so it will give me a couple more HP and I have to tell my insurance as it is a modification.

I really wouldn't go there Lewis, its really not worth it until your 2 years are up for many legal reasons.

When i put a K&N filter on my bike i ended up marrying a Brazilian swimwear model called Gabriela, i'm sure it was because of it.......
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.

i put one in mine when it was restricted and i noticed a bit more power between about 3000-5500 and a bit more noise that was about it dont think it made it any quicker but i would do it again as it gave it a little more in the rev range i normally ride in

i did tell my insurance about it and it made no difference in cost but i haven't tried to claim that might be a different story

from all the stories I have heard from people who where restricted and claimed, apparently they don't check the BHP coming out of the bike, they just check to see if the washers, throttle stop etc etc are in/on the bike.
