But sadly it's no longer mine ! Tis gone to a new home in York after I was offered an amount that I could not refuse infact the deal was that good i could buy a gen2 and still have cash left over ! it feels empty not having something to tinker with so the hunt is on for the nxt project.

Hi My Fazer is 2004 and is my second of this model. A few modifications, braided brake hoses radiator grill, belly pan, high screen, renthal handlebars and grips, modified seat by Digger Seats and Yamaha luggage rack. I do no do engine modifications and can cruise 2 up with luggage at 48 to 52mpg whilst in the 80 to 90mph bracket, on foreign soil of course.

Hi steve
I remember riding yours around Bruntingthorpe in 2006...a very comfy perch after the manic FZ-1 !  Wink

I have to say its  a real credit to both veteran and newcomer fazer owners to see their machines so well kept....kinda motivates me to do something with mine...been considering a full respray for last 2 yrs, so maybe that will be my  direction. I do wonder just what can be done for flaking engine paint ...? any ideas ??

Hi John
Cripes!!! was it really 6 years ago. Still one of my best days of testing the old girl out to its max, legally.

BTW talking of Brunters, have you heard anything of Driller as I haven't, just wondering about him the other day?

Steve

And in the first picture where its shown its hooligan tendancy and done a piddle on the drive.
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad
