Well battery totally dead will light up the dash but wont turn bike over :'( after several hours/days of on off charging still wont work so decided to get a motobatt glass matt batt 
my problem is when i get it what should the charging from the bike engine be as i tested it the other nite though the oximiser cable that was connect to original batt and charge went up from idle 11.3v to 3000 rpm 12.5 sshould it be 14v or is the rectifyer caput and the alternator too
