Swingarm lube job

Has anyone tried to grease their swingarm bearings with it still on the bike? Is it even possible? You know what I mean, there's the 'by the book' method but the mechanics always have a short cut.

Will I get into trouble if I just yank out the pivot bolt?

I would have done it yesterday when I did the chain/sprockets but to drop the arm - simple job - for me would have meant taking off the Scorps and cat pipe. The major fly in my ointment is a full set of Givi racking that had to be modified to accommodate the cans and everything only JUST goes together.

Just take the back wheel out, remove the pivot bolt, grease and replace.

Its a fuck site easier than removing the whole thing, the shock keeps it dangling nicely.  Try to keep the swinging arm in position after the bolt is removed otherwise the end caps will drop out!!

im thinking of doing this but dosent the bearings etc need lubing too :lol
