FOR SALE: '02 Fazer 1000...NEW PRICE, NOW WITH PICS....PRICE LOWERED AGAIN
#1
Well after almost 7 years of ownership I have decided it's time for a change, so my immaculate '02 thou is up for sale.
It's metallic red, just under 10,000 dry miles and is in showroom condition.
Let's get the bad bits out of the way....it's ready for a new back tyre and there are a couple of tiny chips on the top of the tank where the previous owner dropped the keys on it.

The good bits -
Spotlessly clean, under 10,000 miles, 2 keys , all MOT's to verify mileage, original bill of sale, dealer PDI certificate etc.
It currently has the following mods/extras on it;
Datatool Alarm with 2 fobs, Ivan's Slip-on carb kit (installed by Mike), new battery in August, recent new plugs, last oil & filter change about 1500 miles ago. Now the expensive bits....Ohlins rear shock with remote preload adjuster and K-TECH fork conversion.

I have removed most of the extras and have advertised them in another post.
New Price.....£2695..........I saw an average/tatty condition, higher mileage 02 600 Fazer for this price in a bike shop today.

Taxed til end of Jan 2013, MOT'd til August 2013. Bike can be viewed between Nottingham / Derby area

Email me on aratcliffeATntlworld.com if you would like photos and more info, or ring me on 07931 924215

Just to add, the Ohlins shock has done 3000 miles (cost £534) and the fork conversion was done approx. 2500 miles ago (cost £367)

Thanks
Andy

Thanks for the offer, but I've been offered £2500 in std trim as part ex on the new bike, and that's before the haggling starts. I'm open to offers, but not that low I'm afraid.

Ayup £2500 is over book price for a 02 bike theres a 04 bike on this forum for 2800 if i wanted one without the ohlins also the dealers bike will/may be over priced to compensate the high value px they offered you, it's all mind games with stealers giving you the impression you getting a good deal when you getting the opposite, take into account buying a bike private against dealer price ! And what value the bike loses when you push it out the showroom !

All the best bud

The Ohlins will be coming off as I am getting a refurbed standard shock with Hyperpro spring fitted shortly....so I'll amend the price, again.
£2350 ono
It still has the alarm, Ivan's slip-on carb kit and K-Tech forks. It's a lot of bike for the money and immaculate too, just look at the pics.
C'mon, don't let it go to the dealer so they can make a mint on it. My guess is it'll retail at a grand more.
As of tomorrow evening I'm away for a week, so if you're interested it'll be available for viewing from the 27th onwards.
Anyone interested in a 3000 dry mile Ohlins? I contacted K-Tech earlier this week to see how much they are new..... "around £850 + VAT"......Gulp. Offers on a postcard
Give me a call/text on 07931 924215
Away from home now until 27th Oct.

Cheers

I second that sentiment and on the subject of price, I still thinks its work the original asking price even in stock trim.

What a shame-looks a beaut of a bike-I paid far more than this for mine 14 months ago from dealer. Guess its the economic climate coupled with timeof year. Bet the dealer you trade it in to will ask CONSIDERABLY more when he advertises it. Prices of early thous seems to be at all time low-surely they cant depreciate much more? People see ads for bikes that are 10 or 11 years old and move on to something else-where else would you get so much all round capability for less than the price of a 125!? :'(
