Hi everybody! I'm from Genova, northern Italia, my name is Gabriele.
Bought a FZS 600 year 2000 some months ago, almost mint, just 7800 km on the clock.
Obviously put some Permatex on the usual inlet rubbers cracks, and a pair of Metzeler Sportec M3.
When I went at the MOT test the guy dropped a tool over the fuel tank, so I've had to disguise
a little paint crack with the racing stripes... :o

@Lazarus: I apologize... I didn't thank You for your welcome... You wrote in italian, are You italian?
You know what? I passed through Stewarton many years ago, back from John o'Groats heading to Lake District
on a long trip to Scotland. Wonderful. Ciao, Gab.
Hi Rusty, thank You. Very well, if you will be back to Italy on your bike drop a line. That's true, we've beautiful roads near here in Liguria, but as far as I've seen in Southern England You have magnificent... Ciao Gab.

did you do that trip on your bike? - the roads in Scotland are built for biking - its a pity we cant say the same for the weather.

No, Lazarus, it was 1973, we traveled 3 friends on a Mini
from Genova to London - Edimburgh - St. Andrews - Perth -
Loch Ness all around (no Nessie) - Brora - John o' Groats -
Thurso - Ullapool - Lochcarron - Fort William - Loch Lomond -
Stirling - Glasgow - Stewarton - Kilmarnock - Dumfries - Keswick
and then down to Birmingham - Silverstone raceway - London...
A wonderful trip indeed. At that time I was riding a Bonneville
T120T '69, so when back to London I bought some special parts
to "caferacerize" it. Great. Ciao, Gab.

I'ts very difficult to say... many different things that made a fery strong feeling.
But first of all people: kind and discreet, very friendly. We used to stay at simple
bed&breakfast in small towns or villages, and by night we've had good time
talking with the owners. We used also to have sandwiches for dinner in open
to non residents hotels, cheap and very good, and then... go for a beer at the local pub
I'd like to come back to Scotland very much, and enjoy the vast landscapes again.
Bike looks nice, it's a shame it got damaged at MOT but I think you have proved the best way the cover up damage it make it look as if the bike is supposed to be like that, any way looks great with the stripes.
Andy
When mine was in for an MoT, they dropped the whole bloody bike!!!!
