my rear tire is dead, and i hate bridgestones, so gonna upgrade to my old fave the pilot power 2ct's
however.
they only do fronts in 120 section
but what do other people use, 120/60 or 120/70?
the rear is fine as they do the 160/60.
I believe quite a few people have said on here before that 120's cause handling problems!
This is worth a read, and very informative:

More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.
Mmm, think i'll go for the 120/70 as thats what the newer fazer6's use then.
I think my handling issues would still be improved using a tire i trust!
Cheers for the link though. Muchos helpful
I used a 120/70 with no issues at all, on my 03 600
Ive got racetecs on my 02 fazer 180 60 17 / 120 70 17 handles like a dream....
Damn those racetecs grip like glue
a 120 will make the steering feel a lot heavier. the bike will drop into corners a lot slower.

The only problem there is that you don't own a newer Fazer!!
Your bike would've been speed tested using all sorts of combinations but the fact they decided on a 110 would've meant that it came out as the best tyre for your particular bike.

The newer fazers use a 3.5j rim and the early ones a 3j rim which is narrower (spelling?) hence the tyre doesnt sit correctly on the 3j rim :eek but its your bike m8ty and your life :eek
live for the moment
Elk, the link at the top of the page is my thread and I can't recommend enough to reconsider your choice to go for a 120! I now have a 110 on my bike and it is seriously night and day between the two sizes! There is a lot of choice in the 110 sizes, I have Michelin Pilot Road 2's in the original spec and the bike handles a dream with more than enough grip and durability!
Been said before but it's your choice however my opinion is its the wrong choice to put a on a 120.
Good luck in any case
Just got two more sets of track scrubs yesterday, dunlop gp 2's 160 rear and 120 front, took them to get fitted this morning and ive done 80 miles the bikes as grippy as hell and cornering great not understeering, so I have tried 180/120 160/120 with no noticeable differences bike handles great. What handling problems have other people noticed.???.
Damn those racetecs grip like glue
I use 110 Michellin Pilot 2 and find grip and wear excellent.
heres an update!
ended up going for the pilot power 2ct rear, and a pilot power (non 2CT) up front
in 110/70
grip is much better wet and dry. so theres your answer!
