Same as mine
Bike show for 120 notes a year and a half ago. Like it lots. Had BMW Enduro before that which was comfy and quiet but the peak at the front make higher speeds a swingy

I got mine at the NECC Bike Show last November for £80
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - strawberries in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming - WOO HOO! What a Ride!"
Thats right, rub it in
Smell ones mother. Yaas!
aye - but (as usual) a bit of false economy.
the weekend at the bike show cost me the best part of £200 (travel cost, drink, hotel, drink, Tickets, drink, drink)
so, helmet was a bit on the pricey side

They're good prices boys, Still knocking them out at £124
Sent from my pants - using talkingbollocks
Not so much for me Lazarus. Gave a tenner to a mate for fuel and bought a burger. Ended up spending just shy of about 300 quid but for that i got a new hat, one piece frank thomas leathers, thermal undersuit (pointless in the end, just hosiery fabric. Shite) and some bits and pieces
Smell ones mother. Yaas!
Aye go on, rub it in for the lad, Raymy....
aye - no worries m8
15 of us went down from the club and had a good weekend. dont get many of them these days and was worth it for the experiences we had on the road.

Recently replaced my Shoei Raid 2 with a Shark S900. Well happy
Flip down sun visor which works from a lever by the left hand visor pivot point, so no noise issues. Not used it much this summer though :rolleyes
Seat belt type buckle which is ratcheted so can always get the right tightness without adjusting the strap
And an anti mist coating on the inside of the visor which actually works :eek (for now)
Best of all, 115 knicker off ebag brand spanking (slightly cheesey Flag design but I'm not arsed )
Just one thing though, they are a slightly loose fit so try before you buy in case you need a smaller size than usual.
Its better to ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake.

Sorry to jump on this thread but i'm after a new lid too.At the mo I'm using an Arai RX7 in Kenny Roberts colours, a truly lovely lid but very noisy. I was lucky enough to win this £500 helmet the week I was going to change my old Mick Doohan rep. I'm now thinking of buying a Roof Boxer for commuting, I want a flip that actually puts the chin bar out of the way and has a decent visor, these lids look really great. Any input would be appreciated? Sorry to burst your bubble dont bother with the Roof Boxer they are dreadful, yes they look cool, but they steam up terribly in the wet and the rounded visor distorts your vision in the wet(goldfish bowl effect) i just changed mine for a shoei xr1100 and its fantastic
Thanks for that Garrysimmo, that is the best advice I needed. I'd be really p!st off if I'd spent loads on a lid that isn't perfect.

I was changing from a flip front Caberg Justissimo, so it sounds quieter to me :|

I suggest you to buy only the latest roof boxer, called "V8": Roof Boxer V8 or the newest Roof Desmo helmet (it's not on sale yet)
Duchinni D409 is probably the best full face helmet for short, slow rides on hot days. But poor visor - much wind, mist, noise.
I like Lazer helmets. With visor that gets darker when in sunlight and transparent in the night. Very good, quiet, not too expensive. Lazer Fiber MK II cost me some 200 euros, plus 90 euros for the cool visor. 2nd nice season - good in summer, autumn, wind, rain...
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.
Just ordered a caberg duke for £145
Will post on what it's like when i've had it for a week or two
