lights, how to improve them ?

ideally i'd like to fit hid's but i have no knowledge of compatability etc......
i'd just like a bit better forward light than the standard for night riding.
any help, tips, etc.... gratefully received Smile

Check out my Custom fazer project found here  http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,4125.0.html, in particular chapter 2, projector lights are legally blinding ;-), much better lighting than the stock headlights.

One of the most common (and easy to do) modifications is to wire both lights to come on instead of just one side. I've done this to mine - costs less than £5 for the new adapter and a little bit of wire and takes less than an hour to actually do. hi ya , i,ve put hid on the left side on my 99 gen 1 as for the right one not done it cos mine has no low beam only high. all u need is one bulb for the left side just plug in and ride , i,ve put a 6000k ice blue cost £25 . well worth it mate
