Can I just say this - most of the bikes above looks perfect - not a mark on them. I have to hand it to you guys for keeping them so clean.

Mine is a daily commuter and the muck behind the engine, swing arm etc is so bad I am terrified to even look there. I have no idea how you guys keep these bikes so spotless. Hats off!!

different strokes for different folk positron.

i know if mine was a commuter, then i would probably clean it once a month. i use mine strictly for pleasure and seldom in the rain so it gets washed after most rides.

aha! an mra screen. does it make a big difference? and did it come complete or did you buy the clamps and spoiler thingy on its own?

My silver 03 also has an MRA screen with adjustable lip - although I broke it Wednesday morning by running into the back of a BMW (bike, not car, phew!).

I am 5' 11", and with the lip fully collapsed / folded away, the airflow is on to my upper chest, about 3-4 inches below my chin. With the lip fully extended airflow is a bit turbulent but totally misses the shoulder and neck and lands somewhere on the helmet. I prefer to keep it folded down in summer, but in winter I tend to keep it fully extended to protect my neck.

mine came with the bike when i bought it.

Makes a HUGE difference to me. I had a double bubble on the previous Fazer and felt the wind battering at my helmet constantly.

With the MRA screen - i hardly feel anything.

Worth every penny i didnt actually pay for it Smile

positron, are you repairing your broken one or would you like to sell it to me cheap? i just want the brackets!

caretaker, I truly haven't decided yet as I haven't had a chance to assess the real damage. I will keep you in mind if I decide to get new fairing and/or screen.
