Just received an e-mail about the rest of my order. The rest of the order has arrived and it will be posted first thing monday morning. Let you know about quality once received, then its up to yourselves if you want to wait ages for them to arrive. The director i spoke to has also changed the terms and conditions, so that any issues that may arise that you are not entirely happy with you will receive 100% refund no questions. He is also going to stock fazer parts in england for quicker delivery, as he didn't realise there would be such a demand. If i decide to use them again i would prepare myself for 6 - 8 weeks....

Nick, there full of sh1t mate its not just the likes of us wanting fazer items i found afew other non happy peeps on other bike forums regarding bad service due to incorrect information on there time scale, one week over what they state on ordering is acceptable but 4 wks or months is taking the pi55, and Talk is cheap what the MD needs to do is look at the posts peeps put on sites like this and take note after all its us/you that pay there wages and zero limits would have made a nice little packet from this site alone.

I agree with your shout regarding timescale Dave, but if the quality is really good, then i would rather pay their prices and wait 8 weeks than pay through the nose for something of similar quality. Don't get me wrong if the quality is sh*t it will go straight back and i will be the first to slate them on every forum i'm linked with. Cheers, Nick. Ps.. The Long saga continues :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin Won't be laughing if i get pi**ed about anymore it will be  :'( , then  :evil :evil :evil :evil :evil  Anger.

My carbon bits have finally arrived! Ordered on the 9th aug delivered on the 11th nov.... The saga has ended.. well maybe not. The Quality is the best i have ever purchased ' my gixxer has loads of carbon, but none of this quality. The parts bolted straight on with no mods. No overlaping bits, no bubbles, no imperfections at all. If 'and its a BIG if' you don't mind to wait a minimum of 8 weeks i would highly recommend buying from zero limits. Customer service ain't great 'different reasons why your bits haven't arrived etc..' But the stuff will arrive eventually. I got a 20% discount for the wait Smile Total cost for air box covers and radiator heat shields £98.22 Here are some pics of parts and a before and after.

Looking good, Nick.  Glad that the wait was worthwhile for you. Smile

The parts don't look as glossy as the one's Cable Tie got from Germany.  Is that just a trick of the light on the camera?  I actually prefer a slightly less shiny look which is why I ask.

I have to admit I'm still tempted to go with Zero Limits as I'm not in any great hurry.  I'd be happier if they'd be up front about the time involved and the reason for any delay but that aside, it looks like they supply a good product.

Anyone else still thinking the price is good enough to justify taking a punt?

Hi Mike, looking at the pics of both cable tie's carbon and mine i would say that his are glossier. The one's i have are glossy enough to show the carbon clearly, but not overly 'sheeny' The carbon that zero limits uses is from japan. The director i spoke with kept telling me i would be very happy with the product. He was right about that, shame about the timescale! Bike is locked away for winter, so wasn't worried when they arrived, was more worried if they arrived. Happy outcome Big Grin . Might buy the carbon sidepanels :rollin And wait and wait :rollin Cheers, Nick.

Forgot to add that i ordered on 9th sept NOT 9th aug. Delivery time was 9 weeks. Worth the wait regarding quality. Off out with the missus for a drink or 10. Its my birthday! Cheers, Nick  :lol

Tidy bike ya have er Nick.. i think to tell exact difference ya need to see in the flesh! the pics where the items are not fitted and the close up's was done with cam flash on, so will look glossy, but i do agree i like a satin finish to carbon if possible as it makes the carbon weave stand out.

Its a BIG shame they dont tell you the truth about timescale honesty is the best policy its ok having a good product but you need to be straight with your punters, as the goods look really good, and if they said to me from the start its 8 wks id have waited 8 wks but when they start bullsh1ting you start to wonder.

Finally got the pictures sent out to me, quality very good and they fit perfectly.

I would say that with the group buy discount, if you are prepared to wait up to 3 months (made to order), they are well worth it.

If you want to hop on the group buy wagon, now's the time to speak up. Smile

Updated pics. Bought zero limits sidepanels and powder coated frame covers with devilsyam frame plugs. powder coated rear footrest hangers and fitted oberon rear touring pegs. (Had to drill out the pegs (9.2mm) to accommodate the original ball bearing retaining plate and pin), so that the pegs locked in place when open and closed. Informed Oberon. Here are a couple of pics -

I just emailed ZL for some pictures of thier panels painted in 'matt lacquer', to try and get closer to stock.

I have also email Pyramid plastics to see if they will do a run of these in black abs.

So here are some examples of 'matt laquer' and 'flatted back' finishes, the matt lacquer dosent look half bad and looks close enough to the stock panel finish to be a straight bolt on -
