... when refitting your FZ1 rear wheel and need the torque settings, do not look at the owners manual and assume the rear caliper bolts are 40nm, the same as the front.
Because when you dig out the laptop and look at the service manual, the rear caliper bolt should be 22nm and fully explains why the bolt snapped off.  :o

Also Yamaha want to charge over £7 for a replacement (in black). I figured the siver one I had in the garage will fit just fine!

Another example of Yamahas greed ! One Japanese bolt shipped to Uk via parts distribution centre in Holland = £7! :eek  If you think thats bad just ask the dealer the cost of a replacement calliper assy-better sit down first though :'(

I expected it to be dear for a bolt, It's a regular M8x50 bolt but in black with a flared head. I thought I'd pay up to £3 but not £7+.
I'm happy with my 30p bolt and seperate washer thankyou.
