Contract is up later this month so am thinking of upgrading to a smart phone, which may cause confusion as I have been using a Nokia 6230i for the last 6 or so years :lol
So, which one to go for? Once I have a good idea of phones then it's search the best tariff time. Currently with o2.
Are they all much of a muchnesss, or are iPhones the one to have?
You want to skip the phones Tim and go straight for a jack plug in the back of your skull - make sure it's wi-fi enabled :pokefun
I've got a Galaxy S2. Google maps navigation's brilliant and still works when it's inside your jacket. Works nicely with bluetooth systems, too.
Galaxy S3 looks fabby. Apple is nice but overpriced. Very happy with my Android HTC Desire.
Don't buy apple products.
Just don't do it.
Can't comment on the phones but I would not recommend "3" as a service provider. They are THE most infuriating mobile phone company I have ever had the misfortune of using. :wall Never had any problems with o2 for what it's worth.
For me it comes down to either Android based or Iphone based.
i wouldnt use windows or blackberry myself
I love my Android Desier S
But my daughter didnt like her Desire HD as it chewed batterys in 8 hrs (2 if you were running satnav)
When i first went from my old phone to a smart phone the only thing i didnt like is battery useage. i was used to my phone lasting 3-4 days and mine now i get 24 hrs if lucky.
partly down to i use it SO much more though as im on it more than my laptop.
I have a few friends with Iphone and it looks ok. but for me its more a brand fashion thing that made most go for it.
I love Android and if/when i replace mine i will replace with another android bassed phone.
way I look at it the BB is a tool and to get the most out of it you need to know how to use it to its full capacity
the iphone is a toy ! with limited capability but its very very user friendly
my contract is up soon I have the iphone at the moment Just a 4 but i've all the others
I was looking at the note ! a big phone with a big screen
Why do you need a smart phone when you have had old school phone for 6 years...
Got a crackin deal from Tesco's, give them a try.
I were the first person in my work to get the Samsung s2, now there's 20 there. Only get what you will need not what you want. I now only use mine as a phone since Vodaphone gave me a Samsung tablet 10.1 for free. :lol
Tim, check with your service provider, see what they'll offer as an upgrade. And get them to run the analysis slide rule over your usage over the last year or so, and ask for a more appropriate tariff.
I did this at the end of March and T-Mobile moved me from bills of about £80-£90 a month to about £20 odd, including a vastly bigger data allowance, about 600 free texts and free calls. And they threw in a new Galaxy S2 for free.
I must admit though, as a relatively old foccer, using the phone has me bamboozled but being able to watch vids in full HD (I think) colour on my phone is amazing.
Mrs Diesel has worked for mobile service providers for 15 years or so and currently works for Tesco Mobile so I'll ask her what's hot and what's not when she gets home.
i phone all the way mate the only people who dont rate them are those who dont have one :rolleyes iv never met anyone who has one who doesent think its the dogs danglys (i think a lot of it is the anti apple brigade)
I have an iclone (Motorola Atrix) which is great but if the iphone was the same price I'd have had that - but mine was free and £20 a month for a big minute, text, and data plan for two years. The iphone was money up front and twice the tariff. Its better than mine but not twice as good. Have a look at getting a deal through quidco or similar
I have the iPhone 4s. It's ok but I prefer the functionality of an Android. Has the Galaxy S2 before.
You need iTunes to load the music onto the phone but you don't need to buy the music through iTunes.
Another ex-Fazer rider that is a foccer again
