Fazer down

I was out on my bike and came across coppers and ambulance near Filingdale,
I notice a Fazer 1000 on its side,a grey coloured one.
don't know what had happened as the was no car's involve.
it appears to me he was either doing a wheely going up the bank or simply going to fast and lost control.
it amazes me after a winter lay off.
they seem to think they can just jump on the bike and carry on where they left off biking last year.I always take it easy for a couple of rides out and familiarise with my bike.
anyway I hope the guy is ok.

wow very presumptious, the rider might just have had a heart attack, anyhting could have happened the car might not have been hit and had left the scene give the rider a break before attempting to ridicule please

Good point keith    its easy to make quick judgement thinking he may have been dicking around or ran of talent, when he really could have just had a heart attack or a stroke and im talking of experience of seeing the effects of stroke when driving.
Anyway i hope that fella is ok.

its easy to criticize others, though it is an easy assumption to make. Certainly with such a wet april and start to may , there must be thousands of bikers not yet out and about, green but raring to go !  :rolleyes

I never understand these winter hibernation bikers and the concept of a biking season!

Some people have a bike for there sole means of transport and therefore have to ride pretty much 365 days a year.

Others, like me, have a bike for fun and enjoyment, as a secondary means of transport.

And I guess I'm not the only one that doesn't particularly enjoy riding in sub zero temperatures, gale force winds and constant rain.

I've not always had a car and have done 40 mile commutes to work in freezing fog wind & rain on a bike, now I have the choice I only use the bike on the occasions that I know I'm going to enjoy rather than endure the experience.

Like MarchRide says, we are all different, (we are humans) and therefore use our bike differently. I wonder if peterjca will be riding his Fazer every day when he's turned 80, or just for enjoyment, as I do.

Does that mean April and May this year? :lol  Having said that, i managed to get out several times over this winter season as the weather in November, December and January was mild enough and dry enough to allow some cracking rides, in fact, I got out more during winter than I have during this supposed spring!
