It was my late fathers birthday on sunday so we went down to the Isle of wight to visit my mum and sister

while we were there we visited a local bike show at newport !
here's a few pics from the show !

It was packed very busy and the bikes where all so closed to each other it was impossible to get any really good pictures but i did the best i could

Some nice machinery there!! They certainly don't make them like that anymore - proper motorbikes!!

I like the shot of the triumph trident 750...I had the chance of  aquick ride in 1979 on my mate sbike, loved a triple engine from then on. My first ever ride on any sort of a " superbike" !
That bike had the classy looking white/ maroon tank too. Awesome bike.

I had a Bonnie identical to that black T140, it sent a shiver down my spine looking at that picture, I'm wondering if it was my one! Lovely bike and it didn't leak any oil
I sold mine in 1982 for £2500 or thereabouts, I wonder what they are worth now?.

The Matchless that was bunged in the shed 45 years ago looks in pretty reasonable condition. It should come up nicely with a bit of tlc.
