What did you do yesterday?
#1
Woke to blue sky & sun yesterday & the"shiny one" was keen to get its tyres warm. Took a ride to Bromsgrove,Kidderminster Ombersley&Worcester. River Severn running high and muddy. About 60 miles & back home for an afternoons worth of TV racing-Oulton Park looked good-a lot more scenic than watching Stoner ,Lorenzo etc circling Estoril. I used to enjoy MotoGP but for me its become a boring predictable foregone conclusion. Remember Rossi @ Donington in the pouring rain(2005 or 2006?) with the bike trying to spit him off, highsiding in zero visibility!  :eek  Im watching Cal Crutchlow though-time we had a top British rider again.

Gave the bike a quick check over ready to take it out and play with it and noticed the tax disc had expired.  Went online to tax it and found that the MoT has as well.  Cut the lawn instead........

Me too, on my silver GL1800 and in company with friends on their red GL1800, 1467 miles anti clockwise around Scotland over 5 days, set off from Oban ('twas our day 5) for home in Liverpool.  Were you on the blue FZS1000 I'd seen in company with about 5 other bikes, Tuonos I think?  How changeable was that weather, horizontal snow and hail too, then beautiful blue skies.  Brilliant end day to our Scotland tour.

Sleeping bags and tents!  :lol  Not a chance with her indoors on the back, gotta be B&B and evening meals - cost me a packet, I leave the camping for when I'm off and away alone on me FZS Thou 'cos her arse is too big for the Fazer  Wink

Lovely day up here yesterday, so p;anted my spuds, carrots neeps etc, was not at work the day so went for a 200 mile trundle through rural Aberdeenshire, a bit cold but still nice to get out and about. Big Grin
If you worried about falling off your bike, you'd never get on.

Up early, checked crow traps and snares, breakfast then set off for Lockerbie for our footie teams last game of the season, I coach under 13's, won 7 nil and finished 3rd in league, happy days. The journey was em, different, lovely blue sky so bike time. By the time I reached Dumfries I had rode through hail and heavy rain with no waterproofs and by the time I got to Lockerbie I could hardly change gear. On the return journey it was snow and bloody cold, straight into the shower to thaw out. All was well after that as we were in the pub by 1.30 and home by em feck knows, blootered.  Big Grin
Better to stand and look a fool than speak and prove it !

Yesterday was spent mainly getting back from Rouen to Gatwick via trains, busses, ferries and shank pony with 18 teenage rugby players in tow.

Good weekend but not a lot of sleep was had by anyone.
Another ex-Fazer rider that is a foccer again
