Will post more piccys when done ,what do you think ????

Good spot Dave on the nitron shock ,go touring a lot 2,s up with full luggage found the OE a bit "Bouncy" so lashed out on the nitron well pleased with it .
And to answer ghostbiker i did consider painting the airbox covers but thought it would over do it a bit with the blue , so left them being as there is other black bits around the bike personal preference i guess.

Hi Paul

that looks really nice

just a thought mate , to complement the bike i would add some yellow speed blocks to it , like the Gauloises TZR250 i used to drool over in the window of a bike shop in Derby many moons ago,  i owned one in 1995 , bought from powerslide bikes from 125 racer Alex Bedford.

I aint got any pics of  it to post, but that with the gold wheels looked awesome and a good tribute to 500 gp racer Christian Sarron and 250 racer and elbow scraper John Phillip Ruggia  :eek

You beat yamaha colour schemes from 80's and 90's in my opinion.

The good old days  Big Grin

Good job all round.  I agree about the tuning fork decals on the tank rather than Yamaha lettering.

Who did the paint?

Another vote for the tuning forks, I have them on mine and I prefer them to a mate's wordy ones.
Where did you get the lower fairing panels from I knew you could get them for the gen2 but didn't know gen1 ones were available????

Looks good although I went the other way and included the airbox covers in my colour matching - also did the bar ends!

Its the joys of having a son that works in a bodyshop (payback i call it for all the "dads taxi rides" ) I sourced the correct yam paint for them though

Was going down the fork on the tank route as many have suggested but ive got a signwrighters to duplicate the exsisting tank decals & fazer in gold ,the bodyshops going to polish & relacquer over the decals. Im waiting till all thats done because if the middle area looks as if it needs something i,m putting a good size tuning fork printed out to go there & did,nt want to overpower it with too many fork decals.
For information its the POLY 26 lowers
