This is mine. I have just finished giving a bit of a refresh and some nice new parts including some stainless downpipes and rad guard, HEL Braided hoses, new seat cover and am now running the rear jacked up by 40mm which feels lovely around town as it just tips effortlessly into corners. I will be loading this up and heading to IOM in June and cant wait.

Pretty much as I got her.  The only changes I made was a double bubble instead of the touring flip screen and a baglux tank cover to match the seat.
155 officer?  Cant be, only been out 10 minutes

That is a secret that only those of the local council estate can know.... its much easlier to hide the pieces i hit off the cars in a wheely bin.... top boxes get full too quick  :lol

Old ones, the bike looks better now, but I removed the japanese "Yamaha" stickers after many years and I do not if I should put them back, what do you think?

They are from Sierra Nevada, Spain, the first was taken at 2500 m. of altitude, what you see behind the bike is a cloud!

This is from the Guadix track:

There is no rust in the pipes, it is just the painting becoming brown and coming apart. It does not rain too much here.
I removed the japanese "yamaha" recently, also the tank logos, what do you think about it? I am thinking about putting them back, at least the japanese ones.

I like what you've done with your indicators and removing the "yamaha" stickers was a good move but that's my opinion and undoubtedly others would disagree.

Nice clean bike Robbie. If the 3000 miles is from new that's an average of about 215 mile per year  :eek and you did well to find such a low mileage example. If it's since you got the bike in September that's more sencable.
Reply
Yes the mileage is from new, the previous owner wasn't well & liked to clean more than ride, then it sat in a garage for 3 years just coming out for mot's, before i bought it. i'm just getting back into biking after  5 years of missing it through a neck injury so i'm taking it steady, but  the mileage will bea lot more by the end of summer with a bit luck.

Nice looking machine! Daresay the first thing you did was change the oil & filter?.How were the tyres-had the previous owner left it standing or did he occasionally move it around? Enjoy!
Reply
Yep the oil & filter is done, also fuel filter and the inlet rubbers had perished and it was running rough, def don't do bikes any good stood in a garage. The tyres look ok though and it rides nice now.
