32 psi front and 36 rear.....you can't go wrong if you keep them in that range. If you're a particularly heavy guy or always ride 2 up you might want 34 & 38 but otherwise stick to what i've said  Big Grin

That's too high and not correct. The manual says 32 & 36 and i've ridden over 60k miles on FZS600's and can say that those pressures work the best.

I weigh 80kgs and any higher pressures make the bike too skittish and don't allow the tyres to warm up. The best thing to do is try these pressures and see how you get on mate, there is an element of personal preference too.

My FZ1 is meant to be 36 & 42 but that's too high for that bike and makes it hard to get the tyres to temp when i'm caning it. I prefer 34 & 38 on that bike but it's down to you to decide.

36,40,90,10 no matter what your gauge says -no point unless you have a correct reading and reliable one. NOT garage forecourt
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Totally agree 36/42 is the best combination without a doubt, amazes me how the bloke down the pub who probably has never even had anything to do with bikes in any way shape or form but owns one knows more about bikes tyres etc than the manufacturers, how come if they are that knowledgeable they arent working for a manufacturer??

Bridgestone say 36 - 36 for BT023

manual says 32 - 40  for over 90 kg which is me. although for me this does feel a little bit wobbly between 60-80.

It Would be handy to get a definitive but it looks like there is not one

Agree with Bracechenko. You can do a lot better by experimenting than accepting the "universal" figures of 36/42.
That article from the Avon man sounds like tosh to me... 36/42 regardless of tyre manufacturer/bike/loading? :rolleyes

FWIW I am on the light side, no pillion and Bridgestone BT021s and find 33/37 to be the optimum pressures.

Everyone stop --- I have sorted it I have taken all the above and worked out the average for the back is 39.8 exactly, lets do that

The article is unbeliveable: same pressure for everything?? :eek that pressure in a hot trackday is crazy.
the first time I went to a track I thought that the lower pressure was unnecesary because my road tyres and lack of skills. No way, the bike started to drift a lot, I was very worried and a guy insisted to change the pressure a lot. It solved the problem totally.
