Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys beer, and that helps!

AH i see they are doing thier wind protection stuff in "ALDI's" Tongue got some of that last year and its bloody good
prefer the Oxford ones but there isnt much diff in how well they work and the ALDI ones are less than 1/4 the price.

Got the socks and the undershirt from Lidl last week

Socks look as good as the Aldi ones I brought last year

Thermal/wicky/techy biking long sleeved T shirt looks pretty good for the money but it is a bit thight- perhaps thats the idea.... or maybe I have had too many chips!

I like the touring boots from Aldi. Once you break them in they are nice and comfy. Very durable too.

I also have the touring boots from ALDI as i bought them last year - they are identical to the ones they are selling this year and are extremely comfortable and actually 100% waterproof (which surprised me no end if i am honest - as they are only labelled as water resistant)

Haven't leaked a drop in heavy downpours for me yet anyway (motorways etc)

I debated buying a new pair but mine are still in perfect condition and nice and comfortable

So have I, had mine for a few years and still as good as new!

I  went to the one in Havant last night and bought a selection of stuff they had on offer. it all looks ok. I'm waiting for a free weekend where I can get out on my bike and use it rather than just the commute to n from work!!
It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!
